Hyde Park, in the heart of Sydney's CBD offers a little oasis from the hustle and bustle of city life.

From Hyde Park you can visit the ANZAC War Memorial, take photos of the beautiful fountain and even have a go playing a gigantic game of chess.

At the Northern end of Hyde Park you’ll find Elizabeth Street, home to David Jones. Affectionately known as DJ’s, it is Sydney’s oldest shopping centre.

On the opposite side of the Park you have St. Mary’s Cathedral as well as the Hyde Park Barracks Museum, just around the corner.

The Art Gallery of New South Wales and the Royal Botanic Gardens are easily accessible and are only a 2-minute walk from here.

Hyde Park really is a gateway to many of the attractions that Sydney has to offer.
