Manta pride themselves on serving fresh, local seafood including oysters, lobsters, mudcrabs, prawns, Tasmanian scallops and Queensland reefbugs.

Manta, which is located on Finger Wharf in Woolloomooloo, opened in March 2000 and offer uninterrupted views of the city skyline.

Manta pride themselves on serving fresh regional seafood and have an impressive selection on offer. But, the real reason to visit Manta is for the oysters.

Ordering a mixed dozen is the best way to enjoy the different oysters available. They come served freshly shucked in their juices with either lemon or eschalot wine vinegar.

If you can save the room, the desserts at Manta are a must have, especially the chocolate almondé fondont.

Although the Woolloomooloo Wharf area itself is a good place to go for drinks and dinner, the back streets can get a bit seedy, so it is best not to go wondering around at night.
