The Sydney Centrepoint Tower is the city's beacon and offers some of the most spectacular views of Sydney and its surrounds.

Sydney Tower or Centrepoint is located just off Pitt St Mall in the heart of the CBD. The Tower has been a major tourist attraction since the completion of its construction in 1974.

The best way to appreciate the beauty of this city is on the Observation deck. Now, there are two ways to get to this point, you can climb the 1504 stairs or ride to the top in one of three small, but fast, lifts, which take about 40 sec. When you reach the top, you have an incredible 360-degree view of the city.

Oz Trek, is a virtual reality ride which is part of your ticket purchase and is a fun way for first time Sydney travelers to learn a bit more about this beautiful country.

For those looking for a truly unique high-altitude excursion, not for the faint hearted, then the Skywalk is for you.

Nestled on top of Sydney Tower, the Skywalk is 268meters (879 feet) above city, that’s double the height of Harbour Bridge. This is by far the best roof top view in the city and is definitely a must see! Just don’t look down, glass-floor!! Tickets for the Skywalk start around $40.00 per person and whole experience takes about 95 minutes!

The Tower also houses the highest 360-degree revolving restaurant in the southern hemisphere. The restaurant is open for lunch or dinner 7 days a week and prices for adults range from $49.50 (lunch), $64.50 (dinner) and for kids $24.50, lunch or dinner.
